woooooooo!!
I have jsut got back from Glasgow after seeing Westlife last night. It was excellent! I'm all dancey and bouncy right now- I feel like a 14 year old again. What a show they put on!
They were supported bby 2 X-factor re-ject bands- the unconventionals and the Macdonald brothers (the latter of which I really enjoyed. they have a song called shang a lang or shing a ling or ding a ling or something. Very entertaining!)
But the big guns were brought out when Westlife arrived on stage riding an eclipse. Yes, you heard me right. A total exclipse- on stage!! A great big sun was burning in the background and westlife rode in on a great big black circle that formed a very impressive eclipse (this was to total eclipse of the heart). It was aaaaaace! And the rest of the concert was brilliant too, with fireworks and pyros and amazing singing and and and and and a
BOYBAND MEDLEY!!!!!
Being of my age, I remembered all the dance moves and everything. It was sooooooooooo gooooood!
Anyways, I wanted a T-shirt but it was too busy (and graeme was too ashamed) to buy one, so I'm gonna get one of t'internet and wear it around St Andrews. You can say they're shit all you like, it's not going to change my opinion of their greatness. I've been to all sorts of concerts- from heavy metal to dance and Westlife's concerts have definately beyond all doubt been the best I've attended! |

Can anyone reccommend any books to me? I've gotten back into reading for fun, having just finished my first Kathy Reichs book (I love Patricia Cornwell and she's very similar) and I'd like some suggestions. Must be fiction! |

a) wear more pretty things more often (would include a shopping trip to buy more pretty things)
b) lose weight
c) drink less alcohol

Tomorrow, Graeme and I are heading off to Bussels, and I'm bouncing around with excitement about that! Then I'm going oop North with him for the rest of reading week. Then it's a few days after that until Raisin Weekend and the filming of the IOP thingy (gosh, in a few weeks, I'm going to be one of the faces of national physics...argh!), then the weekend after that is Kirsty's 21st Ceilidh and the AU ball. I just hope I don't get much work in the next few weeks.....
Oh, and it was my first big SRC meeting last night which was really fun! Well, I enjoyed it anyways. :-D |

Well, I'm back in St Andrews and have been since Friday. It's been excellent so far (apart from the turning up to a tip because DRA staff are apparently retards - pics (which are actually quite tame when you've seen and smelt the real thing and here http://ann.zernebok.com/St%20Andrews/06-07/House/ )
It's been a brilliant few days- and so random! Ice cream, disney videos, teaching our new german housemate about dr who and the mighty boosh, wandering around charity shops, wandering around st andrews, drinking all the free wine we could find.... lots of stuff. I'm REALLY looking forward to Gina G on saturday as our house is going dressed up all retro and stuff. Should be a hoot.
But I don't have much time, I'm getting ready for volunteering tonight in my giant tent of a t-shirt. yay! I'm advising and matriculating tomorrow and then that'll be out of the way!
